Couple fun shots looking towards the glare with cormorant taking off as well as a sea lion swimming to the edge of the water at La Jolla Cove.

I ended up spending some time chatting with some people that were too close to the sea lions. They were receptive and moved before we chatted about animals for a bit. I usually avoid talking to people as it rarely goes smoothly but this one was ok. Don’t tell anyone at the Seal Society – I don’t think I could be polite for any extended period of time…

And another little one lying on the rocks at Point La Jolla.

Last from the point is a Seagull chick before I wandered to Children’s Pool.

Snapped a couple pics I liked and ended up hanging out there for a long time.

There was a gal who went out snorkeling, and at first I was kinda cringe but she just  slowly went out, floated a bit and allowed the seals to do their thing.

Oh, I forgot to mention that she sang to them, or like chanted the whole time. It honestly seemed so super respectful. Had a very Pacific Islander vibe to me. I got a couple fun pics of her and had to wait for her to get out to give her my business card so hopefully I can send her to them later hahaha…
